I am Photojournalist Chris Blake and I work for KCRG TV 9 in Cedar Rapids, IA. This site feature stories I shoot/edit to keep a archive of content I have created. It is in no way a competitor to my employer and in any blog post the views expressed our mine alone.

In the past i worked at WMFD in Mansfield, OH as a photog for 3 years. Ohio is home for me where Iowa is where my wife was born. Long story short she found me a job in Cedar Rapids to which i applied and now work at. Ohio is where my heart and family are but the people of Iowa have made living here easy. My wife and i enjoy getting to know the towns and finding the hole in the wall places that people love. It helps us get to know the fabric that the town was made from. I enjoy working for a locally owned company because it feels like one giant family where the people are as important as anything.
